UK based Congolese model Amelia Lola has founded Lola Espoir Foundation to help disabled children and teenage mothers in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Foundation aims to bring hope to the needy. It is working on providing toys to disabled children and supporting teenage mothers and young widows in initiating income generating activities such as tailoring shops.
Amelia, who is the former Miss Congo in the UK, says she likes spending time with teenage mothers, young widows and orphans.
She also plans to open an orphanage in the Democratic Republic of Congo one day to host and help the orphans with their education.
