30th January 2015: Jonan, a promising Nigerian musician has released a new love song titled “My Bonnie”. This catchy title means my significant half.

“My Bonnie” is a Reggae hit with a dance hall rhythm (Reggaeton). It also has other different mixes including the “Drum and Bass Mix” by Marco Zappala from Brazil and the “Club Mix” or the DJ Mix by DJ Christian from the US.
draws his inspirations from circumstances, personal experiences and happenings around him.
He grew up listening to the legendary Bob Marley, Musical Youths, Don Carlos, Max Romeo and The Maytals while his major influences are Sizzla Kalonji, Damien Marley, I-Wayne, Morgan Heritage and Nas.
Jonan’s manager is , a veteran Nigerian singer based in the UK, best known for her early 1980s hit “Hit ‘N Run Lover”.
“The new single is bound to be a big hit from all indications,” Ms Jiani said.
Aware of the difficulties many people are facing at the moment, Jonan says: “Never despair; never give up and never give in.”
The young musician based in Abuja is convinced that “music is indeed the most powerful tool that can help make change.”
Jonan is appealing to his fans worldwide to keep supporting him and good music too. “Thank you all, I love you all and God bless,” he says.
