Neesha Robinson, Miss Afro Beauty vying for Miss England crown

Neesha Robinson, the current Miss Afro Beauty is one of the finalists for Miss England 2014.

The 21 year old Performing Arts teacher from Greater London is a Kingston University graduate. She will compete with various title holders from across England for the coveted Miss England 2014 crown between 14th and 16th June 2014 in Torquay.

Neesha aims at shining a positive light, empowering and bringing together young people to help them through arts and sport.

Since winning the Miss Afro Beauty 2014 title, Neesha has already been booked for national and international jobs in the performing arts world.

She has also held a Mauritian themed charity fundraiser and raised over £300 for Miss World’s official charity “Beauty with a Purpose”.

This hardworking, beautiful, talented and accomplished young lady strives to empower fellow young people, encouraging them to go out, better themselves and embrace their full potential.

Neesha is also the owner of NSA Performing Arts, a dance school, and a professional Cheerleader for premiership team “The Crystals” at Crystal Palace FC.

Talking about her future plans, Neesha said: “I want to incorporate my experience in the Arts, Media, Culture, Sports and Education; I have my sights set on working in government, I’d love to help people internationally.”

She hopes that being Miss England will help her go on to fulfil her dreams.

Last year Neesha was admitted to the prestigious Harvard University Summer Institute, Boston, USA, to study International Law and Musical Theatre. She plans to go there next summer to commence her studies.
