JazFreddy Royal, a musician based in Manchester has released a World Cup themed song titled “Samba Samba” to raise money for international children’s charity UNICEF.
The new song is dedicated to Brazil, the land of Samba music and host of this year’s FIFA World Cup.
“Samba Samba” is an electronic house track fusing European dance music with Samba. In this track JazFreddy Royal sings in French, English and Portuguese.
In the song he praises Mario Balotelli, the Italian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Serie A club A.C. Milan and the Italian national team. “Mario is a good man,” JazFreddy Royal says.
His previous single titled “Foe, We All Miss You” dedicated to the late Cameroonian international footballer Marc-Vivien Foé did very well.
JazFreddy Royal once performed the single “Foe, We All Miss You” at the Manchester City Stadium packed with 48,000 fans and donated all proceeds to the late Foe’s dream to build a school for young footballers in Yaoundé, Cameroon’s capital city. As a result, local community Radio DJ Glenda Berg, in a campaign run by the Manchester Evening News, nominated JazFreddy a Manchester Hero.
