Job opportunities: Policy Officer (Victims Services) and Administration Assistant – West Midlands Office for Policing and Crime

West Midlands Office for Policing and Crime is recruiting a Policy Officer (Victims Services) and an Administration Assistant.

jobsFrom October 2014, the Police and Crime Commissioner will be responsible for commissioning local practical and emotional support services for victims of crime.

These two posts will assist Bob Jones, the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner in fulfilling this responsibility.

Role of Policy Officer (Victims Services)
– To provide policy and research advice in respect of victims of crime
– To ensure that the Commissioner meets his statutory duties in respect of victims of crime

Terms: 12 month fixed term contract, full time

Remuneration: £26,658 – £32,226

Role of Administration Assistant
– To provide administrative support

Terms: 12 month fixed term contract, full time

Remuneration: £14,928 – £18,525
