Tuddeyo e Kampala to host Life & Hope Clothes Drive in London

Ugandan Club event Tudeyo e Kampala has partnered with Ladyboss Productions and Jozyz Boutique to host the maiden annual Life & Hope Uganda Clothes Drive Networking Event in London.

The scheme enables the Kampala-based charity to respond to communities affected by natural disasters in Uganda to provide relief and enable people to get back on their feet.

Through the drive, guests at the next edition of Tuddeyo e Kampala can bring their unwanted clothes to Club 791 in Thornton Heath, Croydon on Sunday 6th July 2014.

The clothes will be shipped to Uganda where they will be given to those who can still make use of them. Life & Hope Uganda was founded in 2012 and directly works with young people in schools, slums, on the streets and orphanages by empowering them through life skills educational programs in gender, sexuality, health, education, arts and governance.

The charity aims to advance young people’s lives through leadership and youth led initiatives by engaging young people to act as peer educators.

The charity’s work has been recognised by youth organizations and community initiatives.
