Mayor of Lambeth to host Valentine Cultural Fundraiser for Girl Child Network Worldwide

17th February 2015: The Mayor of Lambeth Cllr Adedamola Aminu will host a Valentine Cultural Fundraiser for the Girl Child Network Worldwide on 20th February 2015.

The Valentine’s cultural evening will be held at the Town Hall from 17:30.

The Girl Child Network Worldwide founded and directed by Muzvare-Princess Betty Makoni, is a lead organisation in empowering and educating girls in Africa.

Princess Deun Adedoyin Solarin will be the Program Director.

The following artists from African Caribbean communities will entertain the guests: Ayan De First and Aduduwa Talking Drummer; Princess Olugunju and the Afropeans; Muzvare Betty Vauya Zvachose – Zimbabwe Women Empowerment Group; Magdalene Adenaike – Child Marriages specialist and musician; Kashif Da Flash – The DJ of the century; Azeezat aged 11- Poem on Empowerment – The best in the world; Femi and Roucheon; Deoba Authentic – The Power Performer; and Debra Mowlem – the story of the village girl.

Dress code is smart casual or traditional African attire.
