Musician Magdalene Nyerovwo Honeybell Usikaro-Adenaike will officially launch a new CD and book titled “From Shame To Strength. Music Saved Me” on 26th July 2014 in London.
Magdalene has been a musician for more than 20 years. Her inspirational songs are stemmed from the church but are not only meant for church goers.
Magdalene’s songs mainly convey hope. The message of her music is driven by the passion borne from her personal experience as a woman who was faced with the challenges of being a teenage mum. With songs such as “I Wonder Why”, “Don’t Cry”, “Rise Up”, “Love that’s Real”, “Never Again”, and many others, Magdalene believes that we can change the world one person at a time.
The launch event will be addressed by Modupe Debbie Ariyo OBE, Chief Executive of AFRUCA; Muzvare-Princess Betty Makoni, the founder of Girl Child Network Worldwide (GCNW); Her Royal Highness, Princess Deun Adedoyin Solarin; and Mayor Ade Aminu.
