AFFORD will hold a conference on the Role of the Diaspora in Health and Education Emergencies on 14th October 2014 in London.
The event, which will put spotlight on Nigeria and Lesotho, will be held at the Khalili Lecture Theatre, SOAS, University of London, Thornhaugh Street, Russell Square, London WC1H 0XG, from 6.30pm to 9:00pm.
Research studies conducted for the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) by Equinox Consulting on mapping of Nigerian diaspora health and education professionals, and by AFFORD on mapping diaspora healthcare professionals in Lesotho will be launched at the event.
This event, which forms part of Global Diaspora Week, is being organised in partnership with AFFORD, IOM, and the Centre of African Studies (CAS) at SOAS.
