‘Let the Lyrics Flow…’ event to raise funds to support AFRUCA’s work with African victims of trafficking in UK

9th February 2015: Africans Unite Against Child Abuse (AFRUCA) invites you to an entertaining evening of music, lyrics and words.

AFRUCA Young PeopleThe event titled ‘Let the Lyrics Flow…’ will be held on 14th March 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at The Redmond Community Centre, Kayani Avenue, London, N4 2HF.

It will feature AFRUCA’s Young People who have been working with Music Relief to write, compose and record songs inspired by their life experiences which include their lows, highs and roads to recovery.

AFRUCA says it promises to be an inspirational, uplifting and fun-filled event.

AFRUCA’s Young People will launch their new album and a fundraising appeal to support AFRUCA’s work with African children trafficked into the UK for exploitation.

The event to be hosted by Baroness Jummy, will also feature performances by Guest Artistes including: Emmanuel Oyefolu & Magdalene Adenaike.
