LPF Kiddies Club in collaboration with AFRUCA (Africans Unite Against Child Abuse) charity will host a child protection and positive parenting workshop in London on 9th May 2014.
“We are inviting parents, careers and those working with children of African descent to come along and take part in a workshop to discuss how we can limit the over representation of Black children in the care system,” says LPF Kiddies Club. “We will also be discussing child protection issues as well as how cultural and generational differences impact on the parenting of African children in the UK.”
This is a free-to-attend event.
Refreshments will be provided. For catering purposes, you are requested to call 074 26868 190 to have your name added to the guest list and to identify any dietary requirements you may have.
Spaces are very limited so please register your interest early to avoid disappointment.
The session will be very interactive and informative.
