A man accused of stabbing his estranged partner to death denies murder

26 year-old Nathaniel Brown is accused of knifing 24 year-old Zandra Maxwell-Nelson 15 times in Tottenham, north London.

The attack is said to have occurred around 6pm on 20th April.

Today the Old Bailey heard how Ms Maxwell-Nelson had sought to find safety in a parked car but suffered fatal injuries.
According to Willsden & Brent Times, the mother-of-two was pronounced dead in hospital two hours later.
The trial is set for next year on 16th January and is expected to last seven days.
Brown remains in custody.
