South African elections in UK to be held on 30 April 2014

South African electionsSouth Africans in the UK who registered to vote in South Africa’s elections must vote on 30th April 2014.

The South African High Commission will be open for voting on 30th April 2014 from 07:00 to 21:00.

All South Africans in the UK wishing to cast their vote will be expected to bring the following documents: Green barcoded South African Identity Document (ID); and valid South African passport.

Only green barcoded IDs and valid SA passports are required on voting day as the approved applicants’ names will appear on the voters’ roll.

Please note that it is not possible to vote abroad on any date other than 30th April 2014, and no exceptions will be made.
