Pauline Long wears a Louis Mariette Hat worth £4,000 to Screen Nation Awards

Pauline Long, the Founder of BEFFTA Awards wore a celebrity designer hat worth £4,000 to Screen Nations Film and Television Awards 2014 recently held in London.

The simple looking yet fabulous hot pink and white hat was designed by the London based celebrity designer, Louise Mariette.

The designer who was born in Malawi grew up in Botswana and Swaziland. His work is much in demand by leading companies such as the Platinum Guild, Harrods, Swarovski, Boucheron, Links, Air Partner Learjets, Jaguar, The Dorchester and Cliveden House.

Some of the glamorous celebrities who have won Mr Mariette’s designs include Jerry Hall, Alek Wek, Jodie Kidd, Isabell Kristensen, Sophie Dahl, Joan Collins, Dannii Minogue, Lady Gaga, Paris Hilton and Kate Moss.

His designs are gracing the pages of fashion shoots, adorning the windows of Harrods and Swarovski, exhibiting at the New York public library, etc. He has also collaborated with designers such as Manish Arora, Qasimi and Nichole de Carle.

Ms Long is the owner of East End Studios in London. She also hosts The Pauline Long Show on BEN TV.

At the Screen Nations Film and Television Award 2014 Ms Long who is also an inspirational speaker presented an award to Nigerian actor Alex Ekubo who won the Favourite Male Emerging Screen Talent.
