We would like to appeal to all our readers and well-wishers to help Tambu Mackenzie, a Zimbabwean mother who urgently needs to undergo a life-saving surgery in the United Kingdom.
The 27-year old lady has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Chondrosarcoma which can only be treated through specialist surgery.
Unfortunately this kind of operation cannot be performed in Zimbabwe or South Africa.
Professor Iain Hutchison of St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London has offered to do the operation for free.
There are however other medical expenses including the theatre fee, accommodation, the use of intensive care unit, the fee for the neurologist and the anaesthetist. It is estimated that about £30,000 are needed for Tambu’s treatment. Her family and friends have so far raised almost £9000.
LET’S ALL JOIN HANDS AND HELP TAMBU COME TO THE UK FOR THIS LIFE-SAVING OPERATION.
