Help trace two teenage girls missing from London

Mia Ferguson

The Metropolitan Police Service is appealing for help in tracing two 15-year-old girls who have gone missing from Hounslow and Brixton, in London.

Mia Ferguson from Brixton, and Jade Young from Hounslow, went missing from their homes on 4th May 2014. They were subsequently seen frequenting Oval and Lavender Hill, in south London.

They were seen at a chicken shop in Oval on Friday, 9th May (time not known) and in Lavender Hill on Saturday, 17th May at 14.30hrs.

Police have since received information which suggests the girls could have travelled to Manchester.

Mia is described as a light skinned black girl, 5′ 4″ tall, with brown hair and slim build. It is believed that she may now have altered her appearance with hair extensions as a market seller remembered selling her some.

Jade Young

Jade is described as white, 5′ 5″ tall with dip dyed brown hair. There is no description of clothing for both girls.

Anyone who has seen Mia or Jade, or anyone who knows of their whereabouts, is asked to call Hounslow Missing Persons Unit on 020 8247 6156, or police via 101, quoting reference number: 14MIS015124 & 14MIS015163.
